St. Patrick’s Day is one of our favorite holidays to celebrate in Brooklyn. There are always so many parties to attend and fun parades to check out near Caesura. Here’s what you can get up to at St. Patrick’s Day parties in Brooklyn this March 17.
The annual Brooklyn St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a family-friendly favorite and longstanding tradition for Brooklynites. Stop by this year for a pre-parade mass at 9 a.m. at the Holy Name of Jesus Church before starting the festivities at 12:45 p.m. A “Rededication Ceremony” will pay tribute to the fallen heroes and victims of 9/11 before the parade begins. You can catch this ceremony and the parade at Prospect Park West and 15th Street. For more information on the festivities, click here. Prospect Park West is a 13 minute drive or 19 minute transit ride from Caesura.
Catch the Brooklyn Nets game as they take on the Dallas Mavericks on St. Patty’s Day for fun and charity. All proceeds go towards the Child Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. Tickets are $50 and available for purchase here. The game is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. on March 17. Barclays Center is a seven minute walk from Caesura.
